Welcome to the website of Black Cat Engineering and Construction, one of Qatar's leading and most reliable contracting companies. Having developed as part of, and being closely affiliated with the Qatar Investment and Projects Development Holding Company, Black Cat was established with the preliminary vision of serving the construction and maintenance needs of the region's Oil & Gas industry. We have strived to continue in QIPCO's footsteps by ensuring customer satisfaction while continually adapting to today's ever-changing global business environment.

Since 1981, the company has substantially increased its scope of operations in the contracting sector. Largely due to our taking advantage of Qatar's unprecedented economic boom, we have managed to expand our fairly limited array of contracting services to include all aspects of engineering, construction and maintenance of oil, gas, and petrochemical plants, and presently manage a continually growing list of clients which includes some of Qatar's largest companies.

We are proud to report that, as of 2009, we have successfully completed complex projects for QP, Rasgas, Gasal and Snamprogetti. Our top priority is safety. We have maintained our spotless safety record and OHSAS certification and have numerous safety awards to show for it.

We recently undertook the major step, together with our JV partner SEG, of securing the prestigious Ras Laffan Emergency & Safety Training College contract worth in excess of $450 million (above 1.6 billion QR).

Black Cat has entered into a joint venture with AMEC, who is a world leader in asset support services including the management and execution of planned turnarounds, overhauls, maintenance outages and emergency shutdowns, and we have already started building the infrastructure / maintenance workshop in RLIC.
